Have to modify dashboard bracket if want to use mitsu dashboard and have to cut or modify door trim because cant close door as the dashboards touches door trim
If want to maintain campro dashboard got alot of wiring need to "kawin", will not work for diagnostic tool (PDT, MUT) in case wants to troubleshoot errors.
standard for GSR boosting at 0.7bar gets around 160 to 170hp on wheel (all the claims above 200hp is on engine)
Expensive potong leher parts price be it second hand or new.. ( shop will say, Mitsu mah mmg mahal la)
Halfcut Price Rm9.5k, installation at least RM2k complete with change timing belt etc, no external management yet to customed tuned and no extras yet (no boost meter yet, no blow off yet, no turbo timer yet), so more than 15k then everything cun?
At least need another rm5k to 10k to get 300hp and above (do customed piping (banana), change bigger turbine, bigger intercooler, etc),so most gsr are left standard. (using intercooler the very ciput size and ketupat? (original OEM turbo manifold not banana is known as ketupat in the turbo world here))
Gearbox are 4WD, need to lock to become 2WD
For satria neo need to do chassis tempering as neo does not have crossmember bar across engine and gearbox. Can approve puspakom?
So from here we can see the comparisons, its nice to put evo as the power is already there but unfortunately JPJ do not approved 2.0 into proton anymore (except perdana)..
Management is needed whether campro turbo or GSR as this will ensures the fueling and tuning is individually set for that particular vehicle load / engine combination..
Remember, for campro turbo its crucial to use management to tune to force induction map behaviour and for GSR/EVO its better to use management as well to fine tune settings as the load of vehicle, 2wd or 4WD is not same anymore, furthermore engine is older and performance deteriates.

I was hesitating to open a thread regarding what I wanted to share here today as I would not like to be stamped as selfish or snobbish as what I am going to share here cud be very harsh to some people here..
But after so many incidents that i encountered and seeing alot of our fellow camproians tried to go for force induction and failed terribly, seeing they blew their campro engines and retire for other cars if they didnt convert to mitsubishi, I felt I need to voice out my opinions and experience.
Ok, lets start by me telling you my own experience marketing Xenon's Camproturbo kit since early 2007, i get alot of calls asking me about the kit, piston needs to change or not, what turbine used, etc, but it all came to the golden questions, how much? that time the kit was RM8500 with management (means complete turbokit hardware and software)and about RM7k without management.. Alot of people that call in feels its abit to expensive and their favourite response is. "ok, will let u know if im interested".. hehe i prefer this answers rather than " ok, im very much interested", call again for meeting up, shows very much that he wanted it, then suddenly kept quiet (FFK la wat else) with a very lame excuse (you guys will never guessed what grandfather stories used, har har), well, its up to them, as I dont have the right to force anyone to buy Xenon's turbokit..
But what I would like to share here is that any phone number that call me and enquire regarding the turbokit or any products that i am selling, i will not forget to save them and i categorize them under "prospect turbo neo johor’ or “ prospect turbo gen 2 cps” etc, and I also enter a brief description of what I know from the conversation to remind me of them in the future in case the need arises like “this guys called, interested but stays in kuching, worried abt after sale service bla blab la..”.. days, weeks passed, sometime months to a year then suddenly one fine day, my phone rang or sms came in from a saved “prospect” number.. sometimes they actually are ready for the kits and they purchased it later on.. Thank you for your support, enjoy your camproturbo machines..
What I want to emphasize on today are those “prospects” that call me again, not knowing that I remembered thet called before and they wants me to help sell their turbo kit.. Hah? Their turbokit? Aiks? Why la? Their answers are, “nak jual kete”, “takmau main turbo dah” or some that says the truth “not power la, rosak engine jer”.. Guess which one I prefer to hear? Of course the real reasons la why they want to sell their kits..
So by now you guys would be thinking, “ So what?”.. hehe, this only gets more interesting now..
The same people that called in and enquired about XENON’S camproturbokit now not only made their own somewhere else and wants to sell off? Ha ha ha.. y? You guys can find their advertisements to sell their kit all over the net, mudah.my, ZTH, g2c forums etc..
This is why.. They think Xenon’s turbokit is expensive, when they ask whats in the kit and they know they can get cheaper outside, they took the sample pictures of xenon’s engine bay and try and do the same without knowing that theres a lot more than what you can see in the pictures to make a campro “successfully turbocharged”.. most of them managed to save around Rm1000 to RM1500 when they did the turbokit themselves or elsewhere.. Bravo for the savings, but… but… but..
Since they don’t R&D like our bro Xenon did on HIS OWN CAR, these unfortunate ppl that did the turbokits themselves had to injure their engines and investment because they simply do not know things like whats the correct hybrid turbine setup, what kind of intercooler piping dimensions, and the most important is, the crucial thing, what management, n how? And the most important, how to cheat campro’s OBDII ems7000 ecu? Haha… ecu detect boost, engine check light comes out.. and engine safe mode started..
I encountered a lot of people that after I meet them to help them sell their turbo kits as second hand to customers that buy cheaper.. they say they use the same management Xenon using, but still their tuners cant seems to tune enough fuel and this means they are burning lean when they are boosting.. Lean fueling when you boost means you are building up a lot of combustion heat that finally made the piston melt and / or gets bigger (heat expends metal and thus got stuck in between the block lining and whats next? kababoom… engine blow..
That’s y people was so surprised that Xenon customised his kit safely and durable with proper sufficient power without changing things like the fuel pump or even thicker metal gaskets.. this is achieved because his kit is designed to suit standard engines rather than coming up with a kit then insist to change everything that definitely will make customers have to blow their budget..
So, which one do you prefer? Save RM1000 now and do your own kit and repair and replace ur damages that will adds up more than Xenon’s kit price or just let him furnish you with a guaranteed results, durability and efficient camproturbo system that will ensure to let u enjoy worry free totally different campro driving experience? Its your call..
You are not only buying a bunch of metal parts but also the experience and R&D done by Xenon .. I think its fair.. He spent almost RM30,000 doing R&D on camproturbo charging, trial and error on his own car (not customers car like some workshops)
Things you need to know about campro turbo charging :
1. Campro turbo is safe – provided ur hardware and management is chosen perfectly..
2. Campro turbo doesn’t consume high fuel consumption – good tuning ensures smooth power delivery even at lower RPMs to deliver you a very high torquey drive and results is you don’t accelerate your pedal more which in return better fuel consumption than NA
3. Perfect campro turbo setup doesn’t strain or stress your engines.. no more pressing till rpm almost redline to chase that other car..
4. Camproturbokits are legal.. – just go to puspakom for voluntary inspection but make sure you go with a reasonable decibels of exhaust noise.. My car was approved by JPJ wiulayah wangsa maju when I came with an S-Flow and a mid box, my turbo kit is legal, if not they wont issue an approval release letter..
5. As all turbo systems, if you like to play turbo, but have limited budget I advise you to save up till enough as turbo systems needs to be completed fully to ensures safety and reliability to the engine.. again this word safety, durability is mention.. some ppl just want power power power, later got problem than only see how to kawtim.. not xenon’s style.. you want to drive turbo, just press, ur car goes, you do not worry because you know your engine and turbo systems already dyno tuned, and are running RICH burning when u boost.
6. Most Turbo drivers out there are the cause of NA people scared to play turbo, y? because they mod their turbo the wrong way.. when their engine kaboom and a lot of horror stories comes in, othe NA kakis scared and have the perception that turbo is dangerous to the engine.. a quick example given:- a converted wira GSR, after playing standard boost, wanted more power, upgraded his boost to higher boost or change evo turbine (larger) started to experience engine choking thirsty of fuel after certain rpm,, so he upgraded his injectors (common is to use EVO injector),. Still a bit choking then the next is change fuel pump (warlbro or evo) but still fuel not enuff.. actually he can just settle his fueling issues if he drop in an emanage, dyno tune by a good tuner,, and voila.. power!!! And still safe..
So here there is.. please don’t injure and risk your engines be it campro or not just to cut corners.. Hope this threads helps some of you people out there.. cheers..
Beware of imitation and also few workshops dat offer camproturbo kit.. They want to use your car as R&D.. and their results are no where near ours.. Let Xenon Motorsports give you the best fine tuned turbo kit.. maintain durability and safety when you opt for camproturbo!!! They can copy what they see from pictures but they will never know what hybrid turbine and exact dimension of piping system we are using!!!
